Thomas Papathanasiou is the Co-Founder of the innovative broking insurance company Greek Insurance Leaders. He founded a platform in which the person answers some simple questions. In this way, the time of deployment of health and life insurance contracts reduces from three hours to approximately one. Furthermore, it gives the broker the opportunity to have more than four appointments per day, without being time consuming for the potential client about the outcome.
Thomas Papathanasiou is also a team leader of five brokers, and the last three years his business marketing plan, brought more potential clients than any other system in Greece, including expats that are changing their residence.
The whole idea was born during the first days of quarantine. Thomas’ partner and wife Anna Nikiforidou, one of the most successful brokers in Greece, gave birth to their child. Insomnia from the newborn child and anxiety of quarantine, made Thomas learn IT programming and create the platform Glleaders ver. 1.0, in some days. Work never stopped that way, and his family found the money to continue living, during those difficult quarantine days.
The last decade, Thomas was occupied in different sectors, such as journalism, event management, and business consulting. He studied Economics and Business in Catholic University of Leuven and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is one of the most ascending managers in the Greek Market, doubling up every year the new sales of his team. Increasing his team portfolio by 30% , at least, consecutively for the last three years.
