Sarah Boussaid

Supply Chain Manager at Unilever

Sarah Boussaid, Senior Supply Chain Manager at Unilever Dubai, is an experienced executive with over a decade experience in operational management, strategic planning and fostering organizational development.

Sarah has a rich international experience in procurement and supply chain operating in different countries starting from Morocco in HP/CDG as a junior buyer to Mondelez where she excelled in different procurement positions, to finally join Unilever family and carry on with the journey taking in charge diverse positions in Morocco, Tunisia, and UAE.

Her leadership journey as the Supply Chain Manager for Arabia Nutrition and Ice Cream has been defined by her commitment to promote a more inclusive workplace. Sarah took on the challenge of driving diversity, inclusion and human leadership, focusing on integrating people with disabilities into the workforce.

Her path was not without obstacles. Sarah encountered unconscious bias, resistance to change, and a fear of missteps. Despite these hurdles, her resilience and dedication led her to raise awareness and implement actionable strategies that brought real change. One of her proudest accomplishments was hiring a person with a disability as a trainee—a transformative experience for both the individual and the organization. It reinforced Sarah’s belief in the unique strength of people with disabilities, particularly their mental resilience and capacity to inspire growth.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sarah is a member of Global Shaper Community, a community that believes in a world in which young people are at the heart of solution-building, policy making and lasting change. She has led along with her peers “Start Me Up” a growth program supporting Women entrepreneurs in Morocco.

Sarah’s leadership is fuelled by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s words: “To know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—that is to have succeeded.” This mantra has guided her in creating an environment where inclusivity is not just an initiative but a culture, inspiring others in her company to follow suit. Though her efforts in diversity have yet to be formally awarded, the impact of her work is clear—she has set a precedent for what meaningful inclusivity can achieve.
