At just 16, Paul Vespia left high school and found his calling in construction. Immersing himself in the craft, he worked hands-on, mastering every aspect from framing to fine finishes. His passion for precision extended beyond homes—restoring and customizing cars instilled in him an appreciation for detail and craftsmanship.
Eager to expand his expertise, Paul studied Architecture, sharpening his ability to conceptualize and execute thoughtful designs. But as he transitioned from the drafting table to managing large-scale projects, he became frustrated with the industry’s lack of accountability and transparency.
“I watched families invest their money and trust, only to be met with delays, budget overruns, and broken promises,” Paul recalls. “I knew there had to be a better way.”
Determined to redefine the homebuilding experience, Paul founded Hill & Harbor Design + Build—an all-inclusive firm that seamlessly integrates conceptual planning, architecture, permitting, interior design, and construction. At the heart of this approach is The BluePrint, a proprietary software that eliminates uncertainty, streamlines planning, and ensures every project is executed with precision.
Paul and his team embrace challenges, finding innovative solutions to navigate the complexities of coastal and historic properties while delivering cutting-edge design. “A home should be a reflection of how you live,” he says. “It should be designed and built with intention—where every detail serves a purpose.”
