Livio Di Lecce is currently Medical Director of Advanz Pharma Italy, leading the medical affairs team. In different organizations, he has been always inspired by bringing new and innovative solutions for patients affected by chronic, acute, and rare diseases.
With his mindset – from task to value and leading with kindness and generosity – he has been pivotal in making the difference in healthcare projects at national and international level, leveraging team spirt with motivation and engagement.
He is responsible of planning, implementing, and delivering medical programs, sharing clinical data, educating and supporting internal and external stakeholders to fulfill the educational needs of the medical community, managing scientific communication and working with the regulatory bodies to guarantee the access to therapies. Speaker in European Medical Leaders forum and Global Medical Affairs Summit, Livio has always shared his vision on the importance of a collaborative science and how it can make the difference in healthcare system to guarantee a better life for patients across the globe.
In his career he has received Innovation Award in recognition of innovative contribution to boost enrolment in pediatric studies implementing a virtual tool in Italy first, and then adopted worldwide. In 2019 and 2022, he got the Best Life Science Excellence Award of the Year for the best R&D project in surgery and orthopedics and best scientific collaboration program of the year, enhancing the importance of public-private partnership. Moreover, he received a Recognition Award to create impact for full integration in local and international medical team and making impact on medical governance and projects management.
Since 2020, he is vice-president and member of board of directors of Noopolis Foundation, a no-profit organization committed for the education, promotion and diffusion of scientific culture and research.
