Jessica Southworth is a young woman passionate about the hospitality sector and a clear role model in her niche. Alongside her day job as Director of Sales & Marketing at award winning Hotel Football, she is a member of the Pro Manchester future committee, Associate Director for the Institute of Travel Management, Volunteer for the National Association for Children of Alcoholics & a Trustee at local Grassroots football team, Fletcher Moss Rangers.
After becoming pregnant at 16, Jessica has fought relentlessly to not become another statistic. For over 16 years she has worked hard to progress her career and currently manages a full-on role and a dynamic team, alongside raising her two children.
Jess’ work has been recognised not only within the hospitality & travel sector – Winning a global She Inspires Award for services to hospitality and a place on the Meetings Industry Association roll of Honour, but also regionally where she was unveiled as Top Female Role Model for the North West of England in 2019 by Social Enterprise Girls Out Loud.
‘Hustle & Heart, set us apart’ was a phrase that first caught her eye, as Hotel Football was launched in 2015, with this & the brand values aligning perfectly with her own experiences, it has become a brilliant partnership.
Jess is a true role model for the next generation and is living proof that with hard work, fortitude and a positive mind-set, there is nothing you cannot do.
