From Ottawa, Canada, Holly spends her free time with family, working on projects, and giving back to her community. With a BA from Carleton University, she spent many years working in administration, finance, and HR, but always found event planning to be a very natural and rewarding occupation.
Over the years, Holly hosted several charity galas for national organizations such as Support Our Troops and CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario), and spent four years on the Centretown Community Health Center Board as the Community Youth Representative, leading a policy manual overhaul for their successful Accreditation.
While Holly has been planning and coordinating events for over a decade, in 2022 she founded HollyRalph.ca, an event management company based on the analogy of the duck: “Picture the graceful and elegant duck, floating effortlessly on the water: this represents the forward-facing event experience for yourself and your guests. Now imagine the duck’s feet hidden under the water, quietly paddling like mad to keep moving in the right direction: that’s me, calm and focused on every detail to ensure your event is a complete success!” HollyRalph.ca has already been honoured with a Global Wedding Award for “Best Emerging Event/Wedding Planner – Eastern Ontario”, a CorporateLiveWire Innovation & Excellence Award for “Event Planner of the Year – Holly Ralph”, and the Corporate Vision Canadian Business Awards for “Best Event Planning Company 2024 – Ottawa”.
