FRANCES FRIPP

Founder & Fundraising Auctioneer at Fripp Auctions

Frances Fripp, BAS is one of Canada’s most dynamic voices in the auction industry, a trailblazer, fundraiser, keynote speaker, and advocate who has helped transform the role of the modern auctioneer.

Since graduating from auction college in 2008, Frances has built a career breaking barriers in a profession traditionally dominated by men. She is the only female automotive auctioneer in Canada and one of very few in the world, and the only Canadian Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) designated by the National Auctioneers Association. She also serves as the National Auctioneers Association Ambassador for Canada, representing the profession nationally and internationally.

Through her company, Fripp Auctions, Frances leads Canada’s only fundraising auction team with three professional auctioneers dedicated exclusively to charitable events. Her work on stages across the country has contributed to more than $100 million raised for charitable organizations, helping hospitals, foundations, community groups, and national nonprofits dramatically increase their fundraising impact.

Frances is also an award-winning auctioneer, earning the title of Ontario Grand Champion Auctioneer (2020), Women’s Provincial Champion Auctioneer, and becoming the only Canadian to earn Reserve Champion at the International Auctioneer Championship, one of the most prestigious competitions in the profession.

Beyond the auction block, Frances is a motivational keynote speaker and professional voice actor, delivering engaging talks on leadership, confidence, communication, and the power of generosity.

A passionate advocate for women’s leadership, human rights, and community impact, Frances lives in Halton Hills, Ontario with her husband and their two young sons, where family, purpose-driven entrepreneurship, and service guide everything she does.
