Elvis Ponari is a financial engineer with experience in the banking and insurance industry. Skilled in Marketing Management, Negotiation, Business Planning. He is a Strong professional with an MBA Master’s degree from WU Vienna and an MSc Master’s degree from WEBSTER University Vienna. As the CEO of SIGAL Private Pension Fund, the largest private pension fund in Albania, he aims to provide to the members with the opportunity of an adequate pension and better pension, to maintain their standard of living through careful management of their assets.
His passion for business and insurance and his involvement with SIGAL starts at the age of 15, after working in his teenage years on sales as he decided to pursue higher studies in the field of insurance. He finished his studies in London, England in 2006 and after his studies he returned to Albania where he also worked until 2007 as Deputy General Director. From 2007 onward he was recruited to Vienna, Austria to join the mother company UNIQA Insurance Vienna, which bought SIGAL in 2007.
Following the agreement between UNIQA and SIGAL, he was appointed regional director. He worked mainly in South Eastern Europe. During the time in Austria, Elvis worked in consulting at BCG form 1 year, worked in Mannheimer Versicherung for 1 year. Mostly taking over high-profile projects and group work. From 2015 Elvis worked in the Bank of Albania as Office Manager for Monetary Operations. From 2018 until 2020 work as Compliance Officer at ALBGAZ and from 2020 onward at the SIGAL PENSION FUND.
