My story is quite dynamic and even a bit nomadic and I hope it can serve as an example for many people who, like me, are convinced that courage, passion, determination, sacrifice, study and perseverance can undoubtedly lead to great results and not necessarily after decades.
In fact, it was “only” a bit more than 10 years ago that I decided to change my path, leaving the certain for the uncertain. After earning a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree, both in Economics, and interning as a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor at my father’s firm, I realized that I was doing my job without excessive enthusiasm and also felt that I had not created, with my own hands, the situation I was experiencing. So I decided to move to Rome to do a Specialist degree in Marketing & Communication, at the end of which, very fortuitously, I came into contact with the world of Tourism and Hospitality. A real love at first sight! So began my apprenticeship, the first steps of a career route that has brought me ever-growing satisfaction, in increasingly renowned companies. From Revenue Manager to Hotel Manager, from Rome to Naples, from Puglia to Abruzzo and now, from the beginning of this year, in Tuscany as General Manager of Borgo Scopeto Wine & Country Relais, an exclusive 5-star hotel at the gates of Siena, member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. There have been many media awards that I am pleased to boast of, in addition to obtaining the important Michelin Key last year.
I would like to remind every motivated young person that behind every success there are always courageous decisions!
