Clark Thomas is a Senior Vice President and acting National Construction Growth Leader at Marsh Canada. Graduate of the University of Guelph in 2007, Clark holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing.
The core growth strategy for Clark’s career has always been ‘Industry Engagement’ where he takes an active role within various local, provincial, and national associations. Volunteering his time, over an extended period, enables the opportunity to drive meaningful change within the industries that he specializes in. To date, Clark has served as Treasurer for the Toronto Construction Association’s Young Construction Leaders, Co-Chair for the Hamilton Halton Construction Association’s Young Leader Group, Founder of the Future Leaders Advisory Committee for the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario, and currently acting as Vice President for the Hamilton Halton Construction Association. Through 2016-2019, Clark was instrumental in delivering Bill 142 – New Construction Act & Lien Act Reform through his lobbying efforts at Queens Park in the Province of Ontario.
In 2022, Clark took the initiative to re-invest in himself through Health & Fitness. As the co-owner of F45 Belleville, the vision was to always build the studio out as a ‘community centric’ business where members can thrive from both a social and health standpoint. Every quarter, F45 Belleville looks to support a valued, local organizations through their ‘Hollywood Heroes’ class where they raise both funds and awareness for non for profit organizations who are positively influencing the community of Belleville.
It is his belief that he is merely a product of the great people he continues to surround himself with through the Construction, Insurance & Surety, and Fitness industries. Clark lives in Whitby with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons, Mason & Jaxon.
