Arton Gjokaj is a versatile, multilingual, and highly motivated business leader with real-world proficiency in the field of banking, sales, accounting & finance and loyalty programmes. As a myWorld Managing Director, Arton leads company’s business and development in Albania and Kosovo. In his previous role with myWorld, he served as a Business Development Manager in few countries in the Balkans. Following his outstanding results in his first year as a Managing Director in Kosovo, Arton received the “Man of the year” award.
Arton was born and raised in Tuzi, Montenegro. In his career, he has worked with different organizations in the field of finance, sales, marketing and education. He is also a certified public accountant in Montenegro, and as such, he runs his start-up company Besa Consulting Ltd in Montenegro, which provides financial, accounting and other consulting services.
Having received a master’s degree in Marketing and Business from University of Montenegro, Arton has also worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica. He is also author and co-author of many papers and publications in the field of Marketing, City Branding and Tourism. Arton also runs a non-profit organization in his hometown, which organizes cultural and entertaining events.
