With a focus on plant-based ingredients and ethical sourcing, Lamiaceae empowers consumers to make informed choices by eliminating harsh chemicals from their skincare routines. The brand reflects Annissa’s commitment to conscious consumerism and education, helping individuals understand the impact of ingredients on their skin and overall well-being.
Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Annissa is the Director of People and Technology at XYZ Storage, where she leads digital transformation, optimizes operational strategies, and fosters a strong workplace culture across multiple locations. Her expertise in people management, technology integration, and process improvement has been instrumental in keeping XYZ Storage at the forefront of the self-storage industry.
Annissa’s leadership extends into the community as President of the Leaside Business Park Association (LBPA), where she advocates for local businesses, supports economic development, and ensures Leaside Business Park remains a thriving employment hub in Toronto. She is also a Program Advisory Committee member at George Brown College, contributing to the Business Analytics Program, and founded the “I’m Possible” Scholarship to support students in the field. Additionally, she has mentored aspiring entrepreneurs through Toronto Community Housing’s Be.Build.Brand. program.
