Dr. Alit Kerimov was born in Bitola, North Macedonia. He graduated from the Medical University in Sofia, Bulgaria, and began his career as an assistant to a prominent professor of cardiothoracic surgery. During his studies, he abandoned medicine several times and worked in the United States and Australia, partly due to poor financial condition and the inability to pay his tuition fees as a foreign student.
He then specialized in cardiothoracic surgery and anesthesiology and intensive care. After his specializations, he became the head of the intensive care department at one of the most prestigious private hospitals in Bulgaria. However, his passion lies in aesthetics.
Dr. Kerimov began taking courses in various European countries with the aim of becoming certified and starting to work in the field of aesthetics. In 2018,he started his work like a hobby , he had his first patient scheduled for aesthetic procedures and started working in a space no larger than 30 square meters.
Currently, he owns three aesthetic medicine clinics – Dr. Kerimov – Derma Aesthetic, V.I.A Estetica, Kerimov – Aesthetic. What makes him stand out from others in this field?His specialization in anesthesiology and intensive care helped him create a topical anesthesia cream that greatly reduces the pain for patients during procedures. They are so happy with the results and pain-free application that they leave his clinics smiling. Additionally, his policy is that beauty is not just a matter of taste, but creating beauty is an art. He strives to maintain the natural appearance of his patients while enhancing their features.
Currently, 90% of the aesthetic medicine clinics in Bulgaria use his topical anesthesia cream. He is also developing a new formula of the same anesthesia that can be applied to children in pediatric clinics. He is also involved in pain management for patients with ocular diseases to improve their quality of life. He still works in the hospital in the ICU and he’s happy helping people.
