Albert Aliu is an experienced professional with over 12 years of experience working in emerging technologies and various large-scale projects. These projects have varied widely in geographical scope, from within Kosovo and extending more widely across Europe. His entrepreneurial skills were awarded in 2018 whereby he was a finalist of the British Council Alumni Award, a prestigious award celebrating the outstanding achievements of the UK’s international alumni around the world.
Currently, Albert Aliu holds the position of Managing Director and co-founder at global CT Digital Kosovo, a Kosovo-German start-up working in the ICT industry. During the last 2 years, he has also served as an external technical consultant at UNICEF Kosovo regarding deployment of the Learning Passport in Kosovo’s pre-university education system. Furthermore, Albert has provided invaluable support and dedicated commitment as lecturer in various higher education institutions in Kosovo. He was highly regarded by both management and students at these institutions as one of the top performing lecturers, leading on a combination of management and technology study.
Albert holds a bachelor’s in computer engineering and two master’s degrees, one in Management and one in Information Systems. Alongside his professional commitments, Albert has been involved in and supervised various regarding the use of the Internet and ICT in Kosovo.
