In her career, she has served as the CEO of three major organizations, including her current role as General Manager of the Wyoming State Fairgrounds & Event Complex—where she became the first female in the event’s century-long history to hold the position.
Under her leadership, the Wyoming State Fair has experienced record growth in visitation and economic impact while expanding opportunities for youth and exhibitors statewide. She has helped strengthened programs that celebrate Wyoming’s Western heritage, and launched the Champion of Champions showcase to honor the best young agriculturalists from across the state. Her focus on community partnerships, authentic storytelling, and strategic investment has positioned the fair as a leading destination for agriculture, tourism, and Western tradition. Additionally, she has spearheaded over $10 million in capital improvements in her career, led the creation of multiple non-profits, and built sustainable funding models that have raised millions of dollars to support agriculture, education, youth, and Western lifestyle.
Courtny is also the founder of Hindsight Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in succession planning and leadership continuity for fairs, expos, associations, and nonprofits globally. Beyond Wyoming, she serves as President of the Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs, where she represents and uplifts the fair industry across the region.
