Entrepreneur since young age Adnan Almerdiae, Co-Owner/President of NYC Organic Distribution INC wholesaler/distributor of natural/healthy/organic snacks and beverages. Came in the United States as an 2nd generation immigrant from Yemen and was the oldest of 5 and grew up in Brooklyn, NY in a working-class family. He attended a local community college and helped his father manage his bodega business part time.
Adnan and his partner Magid Salem started NYC Organic Distribution INC company with no funding or any educational background. They struggled at first , but eventually there business took off and were able to hire a team of employees and expand in the industry.
Adnan faced many challenges along the way, including competition from larger companies and difficulties securing funding. But he persevered and continued to innovate and adapt to changes in the market. Today, Adnan’s company is a thriving success, and he is considered one of the leading Yemeni American entrepreneurs in the Food & Beverage distribution industry in New York City. He became known for his unique design aesthetic and high-quality craftsmanship.
Adnan possesses a variety of skills and qualities, such as strong communication and interpersonal abilities, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. He is able to effectively communicate that vision to others. With donating and inspiring youth students in parts of Kenya Africa and Yemen.
Adnan is not afraid to take risks and challenge the status quo in order to achieve his goals, and his determination and perseverance are an inspiration to those around him.
