Recognized for combining engineering excellence with emerging technologies, he is steering Applus+ toward a Technology and Innovation-driven future that enables smarter, safer, and more sustainable operations worldwide.
Before joining Applus+, Abdourahmane served as Digital Delivery Lead at JLL Middle East & Africa, guiding the digital transformation of the Project & Development Services division. His work at JLL accelerated the adoption of BIM, GIS, and Digital Twin frameworks across major real-estate and corporate-asset portfolios, strengthening data-driven project delivery and operational efficiency. His cross-industry experience places him at the intersection of built-environment innovation and industrial digitalization.
With a multidisciplinary background spanning energy, industrial, construction, and real-estate sectors, Abdourahmane has led programs integrating LiDAR, BIM, GIS, IoT, Digital Twin, and AI analytics to enhance asset visibility, reliability, and sustainability. His leadership continues to advance Applus+’s contribution to regional and global digital-transformation initiatives.
A respected industry voice, Abdourahmane collaborates with global technology partners and frequently speaks at international forums, championing the convergence of Digital Twins, AI, and Smart Infrastructure. He is also a board member of buildingSMART KSA, contributing to the national advancement of OpenBIM standards and digital construction practices.
He holds a Dual MBA in Digital Transformation from the University of Barcelona and Zigurat Institute of Technology. Based in Saudi Arabia, he represents a new generation of leaders committed to advancing digital intelligence, cross-sector collaboration, and sustainable growth across the modern industrial and infrastructure landscape.
