Abdelmoula El Hadi is an international innovation leader and Head of Innovation at Knauf Insulation, with 15 years of experience driving transformation across the construction and other manufacturing sectors. He leads global initiatives that align solution development with environmental responsibility, agility, and business growth.
Known for building high-performing, cross-functional teams, Abdelmoula has introduced innovation models that empower employees, accelerate delivery, and embed sustainability into the heart of R&D. His ability to bridge technical expertise with business insight has helped to drive transformation and sustainable industrial performance. He leads the development of breakthrough insulation technologies that lower embodied carbon in construction. He helped lead the transformation that earned a Knauf’s Belgian manufacturing site the 2025 Factory of the Future Award.
Multilingual and culturally agile, Abdelmoula has led initiatives across diverse regions. He previously worked in automotive manufacturing, focused on technology development and digital transformation, giving him a cross-industry lens he still applies today. He was awarded the GIL-Prize for Best Industrial Engineering Project early in his career, marking the start of his track record in innovation.
Abdelmoula is a passionate mentor and connector. He has trained and coached professionals on innovation systems, creative leadership, and project management, and supports emerging talent by coaching students on real-world innovation challenges. He serves as a jury member at MCISE, a leading organization that empowers youth through social impact ventures and represents Belgium as a Young Diplomat in the Moroccan Youth Council for Diplomatic and International Cooperation. He is currently working on a book exploring how large organizations can foster innovation without forcing it.
