These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Business Elite Awards website and participation in any nomination, evaluation, or recognition process operated by Business Elite Awards (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing our website, submitting a nomination, or otherwise engaging with our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

  1. Scope and Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to:

  • Website visitors
  • Individuals submitting nominations (including self-nominations)
  • Nominees and participants in Business Elite Awards programs
  • Individuals featured in lists, publications, or related materials

Participation in any Business Elite Awards activity is voluntary.

    Certain programs presented on this website are not available in all regions. Availability and program scope vary by jurisdiction and are subject to applicable legal and market considerations.

 

  1. Nature of the Programs

Business Elite Awards operates professional recognition initiatives that involve:

  • Nomination and evaluation processes
  • Independent assessment by advisory or evaluation bodies
  • Publication of lists, editorial materials, or related content
  • Optional participation in recognition-related activities

Nomination or evaluation does not guarantee recognition, inclusion, or publication.

 

  1. Nominations

4.1 Submission of Nominations

Nominations may be submitted:

  • by the nominee (self-nomination), or
  • by a third party.

All information submitted must be accurate to the best of the submitter’s knowledge.

We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue the evaluation of any nomination at our discretion.

 

4.2 Self-Nomination and Consent to Consideration

By submitting a self-nomination, the individual confirms that:

  • they voluntarily provide the information submitted, and
  • they consent to its use for evaluation and program-related purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Evaluation and Outcomes

All nominations are reviewed in accordance with the Business Elite Awards evaluation framework.

Evaluation outcomes are determined independently and do not constitute an obligation to recognize, publish, or include any individual in lists or materials.

Decisions relating to evaluation outcomes are final and not subject to appeal.

 

  1. Publication, Listing, and Editorial Content

6.1 Potential Inclusion in Lists or Publications

Individuals whose nominations result in a positive evaluation outcome may be considered for inclusion in:

  • recognition lists, and/or
  • editorial or program-related publications.

Inclusion is subject to program requirements and applicable processes.

 

6.2 Consent by Self-Nomination (Important)

By submitting a self-nomination, the individual acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Business Elite Awards may notify them of an intended inclusion in a list or related publication; and
  • unless the individual expressly objects in writing within ten (10) calendar days of such notification, Business Elite Awards may proceed to feature the individual in the relevant list or publication.

An objection must be submitted clearly and in writing to the contact address specified by Business Elite Awards.

This provision does not affect any rights available under applicable data protection laws.

 

6.3 Third-Party Nominations

Where an individual is nominated by a third party, inclusion in any list or publication will be handled in accordance with applicable processes and legal requirements.

 

6.4 No Endorsement or Affiliation

Inclusion in any Business Elite Awards list or publication does not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation beyond the scope of the relevant program.

 

  1. Accuracy and Editorial Discretion

Business Elite Awards reserves the right to:

  • edit, format, or contextualize submitted information for editorial or publication purposes
  • correct inaccuracies where identified
  • determine the final presentation of any list or publication

We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party submitted information and are not responsible for errors originating from such submissions.

 

  1. Participation and Associated Activities

Participation in recognition-related activities, publications, or events (where applicable) may be subject to additional terms, conditions, or requirements communicated separately.

Evaluation outcomes are determined independently of any such participation.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on the Business Elite Awards website, including text, graphics, logos, publications, and lists, is the property of Business Elite Awards or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

 

9A. Website Content and Acceptable Use

All content made available on the Business Elite Awards website, including text, graphics, logos, visual elements, publications, lists, data, and layout, is the property of Business Elite Awards or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access and view website content solely for personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any website content for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent from Business Elite Awards.

No trademark, service mark, trade name, logo, or other proprietary identifier displayed on the website may be used without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

9B. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Business Elite Awards and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your breach of these Terms & Conditions;

  • any information or materials submitted by you that infringe the rights of a third party or violate applicable law.

This indemnification obligation does not apply to claims arising solely from the editorial decisions or evaluation processes of Business Elite Awards.

  • decisions made in the course of nomination, evaluation, selection, or editorial processes
  • any costs or expenses incurred by individuals in connection with participation or anticipated participation, including but not limited to:
    • travel or transportation
    • accommodation
    • meals or hospitality
    • public relations, marketing, or promotional services
    • professional advisory or representation costs

Participation in Business Elite Awards programs is voluntary and undertaken at the individual’s own discretion.

 

  1. Events, Attendance, and Personal Responsibility

Where Business Elite Awards organises or is associated with events or gatherings, attendance is voluntary.

Participants acknowledge that they attend events at their own risk and are responsible for their own health, safety, and conduct. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Elite Awards shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage sustained in connection with attendance at any event, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

 

  1. Travel, Accommodation, and Venue Responsibility
