MIRELA BLAGA

Mirela Blaga is a Romanian engineer and entrepreneur working across infrastructure design, construction, surveying, and project management. She entered the workforce at the age of 19, while still in university, shaped by personal circumstances that required independence and responsibility from an early age.
Academically, she consistently performed at a high level and graduated at the top of her university class, reflecting the discipline and work ethic that would later define her professional path.
Mirela joined PROEXCO in 2007 and gradually built experience across surveying, infrastructure design, public procurement, quality management, and project coordination. In 2012, she founded IQ PRO CONSULTING, which she owns entirely. In 2020, she became a 40% shareholder in PROEXCO, and in 2023 she co-founded VEST BUILD, where she holds a 50% ownership stake.
Today, she is actively involved in both design and construction, coordinating approximately 30 professionals across the three companies. Together, the businesses generate several million euros in combined annual turnover.
Over the years, Mirela has contributed to more than 1,800 projects and over 500 kilometres of road design, while her broader portfolio spans water and sewerage systems, schools, public squares, parks, pedestrian areas, urban streets, slope stabilization, and local infrastructure modernization. Through these projects, she and her teams have helped reshape significant parts of Oradea and Bihor County.
As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Mirela has built her career through sustained hard work, technical competence, and long-term commitment. Her focus remains on growing strong engineering businesses while contributing directly to Romania’s continued development.
