CRISTIAN HOSSU

Born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Cristian Hossu is an entrepreneur and FIFA-licensed football agent with more than 15 years of experience in the football industry. He began his career as a football agent in 2009, building his professional journey around talent identification, player representation, and the creation of international opportunities for footballers.
Over the years, Cristian has expanded his activity across international markets, developing relationships with clubs, academies, scouts, agents, and football professionals. His experience in the industry led him to identify a persistent challenge: talented players, particularly those outside established scouting networks, often lack the visibility and access required to reach professional football.
This vision led him to found GlobalScoutMe, a sports-tech platform designed to connect players with the global football ecosystem through digital profiles, video, performance data, evaluation tools, and technology-driven scouting solutions. In 2026, GlobalScoutMe expanded its presence in Africa, including the organization of the GlobalScoutMe Cup in Ilorin, Nigeria, which brought together 32 U23 teams.
In 2026, Cristian was selected for Business Elite’s “40 Under 40” Europe, recognizing his entrepreneurial journey and international activity. Today, his focus is on scaling GlobalScoutMe internationally and building a more accessible bridge between undiscovered football talent and professional opportunities worldwide.
