BIRGITTA PETURSDOTTIR

Born and raised in Keflavík, Iceland, Birgitta developed an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age, gaining diverse experience across different sectors. Alongside her professional pursuits, she studied Advertising and Public Relations at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and holds a Diploma in Property Development Intermediation and Real Estate Practice, complemented by further specialized studies in the sector.
At 26, she identified a gap in the Canary Islands’ real estate market: international clients needed more than traditional property brokerage. They needed security, personalized guidance, language support, and a trusted professional to navigate investing abroad—from the initial decision through to completion and the strategic management of their real estate assets to achieve sustainable returns.
What began modestly was built from the ground up into an internationally recognized real estate business serving investors worldwide across the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. Today, Birgitta leads a growing team of 12 multilingual real estate agents, combining local expertise with an international approach to property investment and advisory.
Her entrepreneurial vision has also led her to diversify through Nupropiedad, a specialized brand dedicated to nuda propiedad (bare ownership) investment, alongside consultancy services for international clients navigating complex situations in Spain. Supported by an extensive professional network, she connects clients with the expertise and resources needed to find effective solutions.
Her career has received recognition in Spain and internationally. Featured in books published in Iceland, in 2026 she received La Razón’s Executive of the Year Award for International Real Estate Investment Management. Her company has also been selected for the European Real Estate Awards in Austria in November 2026.
