ALESSANDRO TICCHI

Alessandro Ticchi is an Italian management consultant and project manager specialising in European funding, Cohesion Policy and the implementation of publicly funded programmes. With a background in business law and European project finance, he began his career advising companies on grants, tax incentives and projects supported by regional development funds, progressively expanding his work to public authorities, large enterprises and third-sector organisations.
Throughout his career, Alessandro has supported the design, management, monitoring and financial reporting of projects financed by the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan, European Structural and Investment Funds, LIFE, Erasmus+, national complementary funds and directly managed EU programmes. His experience includes technical assistance for the integrated project, coordination and reporting support for LIFE projects, and assistance to municipalities in managing complex urban regeneration, sports and innovation initiatives.
He currently serves as Managing Director of Ticchi & Partners, where he advises businesses on subsidised finance and supports public administrations in the implementation of nationally and European-funded projects.
Alongside his project management expertise, Alessandro applies business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI, to financial and procedural monitoring. He holds a degree in Business and Public Administration Law and a postgraduate Master’s in European Projects, Funding and Funds from the University of Bologna. His work is focused on combining regulatory accuracy, data-driven monitoring and effective delivery of complex investment programmes.
He also teaches at postgraduate Master’s in European Projects, Funding and Funds from the University of Bologna since 2024.
