Prakash is a distinguished Data Engineering leader who has led global teams and large-scale Data and AI transformations at Atlassian for the last 6 years. Prakash has played a pivotal role in enabling Atlassian’s Customer Support teams to supercharge their legendary support experience using Artificial Intelligence & Data. Prakash has helped bring about a step-function change at Atlassian by driving the vision forward for a unified data catalog for the modern AI age to improve Atlassian’s massive Enterprise data-lake, championing self-serve analytics and BI and supercharging the Data Engineering craft using Artificial Intelligence.
Beyond his work at Atlassian, Prakash is a prominent voice in the tech industry. He is an invited member of the Forbes Technology Council, a judge for the MIT Climate Contest, and serves on the External Advisory Committee at UT Austin’s Cockrell School of Engineering. A cornerstone of the Austin, Texas tech scene, he actively influences the industry through his leadership in the ATX CTO Club, AI Collective, and IEEE/ACM chapters.
In recognition of his leadership, Prakash was selected as a Global Senior Fellow for the AI-2030 Initiative (2026 cohort), where he works to advance Responsible AI transformation across global corporations and governments.
