Julius C. Wiseman Ill is the CEO and Founder of Footprints On The Moon Consulting Services, LLC. Footprints On The Moon, provides healthcare professions educational consultation and mentorship to youth in underserved communities. The Vision is to inspire underserved youth to aspire to want to become physicians, dentists, and healthcare professionals. The Mission is to get them to reach their zenith, and to understand that the “sky cannot not be the limit, because there are Footprints On The Moon.” The company currently is servicing the needs for over 5,000 students within three school districts in the Southern California region.
At 17 years old, he joined the United States Navy. For the last 21 years, he has served on Active Duty. During this time he has deployed four times in support of Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Some of his noteworthy accomplishments include, graduating second in his boot camp class, being appointed to the Presidential Ceremonial Guard in Washington D.C., and being named Sailor of the Year in 2011, 2012, and 2014. Lieutenant Wiseman is currently a Naval Officer in the United States Navy’s Medical Service Corps. He has served in numerous leadership positions. In his current role he is responsible for the acquisition of Medical Professionals, and leads over 80 Sailors across nine different localities in the Southern California region.
He earned his Masters and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from Trident University International. He also holds a Master of Professional Studies degree in Political Management from the George Washington University, and a Master Certificate in Executive Healthcare Leadership and Facilities Design from Cornell University and is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Currently, he is finishing his Doctorate of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Health Services from Northcentral University. All of his education was done while serving on Active Duty.
Additionally, he is a Lecturer at the University of California San Diego’s Rady School of Management where he teaches Healthcare Project Management. He has been featured in many publications and media outlets. He was recently selected to the class of 2022 by Business Elite Awards, as one of the top 40 people under 40 years age in the United States and Canada. He has also been recipient of numerous military awards and educational scholarships during his military and academic careers.
