Özer Fırat is the Co-founder and CEO of Marketyo, one of the fastest growing online grocery start-ups in the Eastern Europe and Middle East, that has received several rounds of investments and got acquired by the online food-delivery giant Delivery Hero in 2021.
Mr. Fırat graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Business Administration, and pursued a master’s degree, followed by his PhD on Sociology. His studies focused on Entrepreneurship, Family Business and Retail Industries.
Mr. Fırat holds multiple roles in the start-up world as a founder, shareholder, and an investor. His experiences in the field led him to establish a retail accelerator company and empower ideas of other rising start-ups. He is the partner of the investment company Attributed Holdings which enables multiple strategic investments in Middle East, Europe, and USA and currently leads a billion-dollar new projects pipeline.
Mr. Fırat is an active leader in social projects, advising one of the largest pet platforms in the Middle East and a member of the board of the paraplegic association. He has been a speaker at various innovation events hosted by large corporations such as P&G and Nestle.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, Özer Fırat is a song writer and a musician and has written a book on personal development.
