Burcin GOrbOz is an architect, technology entrepreneur and investor who is passionate about using cutting-edge technologies to transform the way we live and work. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has delivered turnkey architectural projects across four continents.
GOrbOz’s pursuit of emerging technologies led him to discover the potential of XR (VR/AR/3D), which led him to found GarageAtlas in 2015, creating original content and products for immersive technologies and new media within the scope of design thinking, storytelling, and experiential design. Garage Atlas projects include remote collaboration, virtual exhibition and showcasing, digital reconstruction of archaeological sites, and historical artifacts.
Building on the success of GarageAtlas, GOrbOz founded Atlas Space in 2019, a metaverse company with a goal of creating a truly connected digital lifestyle and utilizing Web 3.0 technologies for human benefit. As the founder and CEO of Atlas Space, GOrbOz leads a dynamic team of interdisciplinary designers, technologists, computer programmers, and R&D experts, working to redefine the future of the digital world, developing digital infrastructures and virtual realms that are inspired by the nature of the universe, our planet, and humanity. With over a decade of experience working together, the team is well-positioned to deliver groundbreaking virtual environments and immersive experiences that creating unique gateways between the physical and digital worlds.
