CEO and Founder of Safe Egypt

Sara Aziz, Founder and CEO of Safe Egypt, has been a passionate advocate for child protection and empowerment since establishing the organization in 2012. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in community development, she is dedicated to creating a safer environment for both children and adults.

Sara holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychotherapy, along with a specialized Diploma in Counseling Sexual Abuse Survivors. With over 14 years of experience in child protection, women’s empowerment, and mental health, she began her career as a certified trainer and counselor for children and families.

As an accomplished author, Sara has published a series of children’s books addressing crucial topics like sexual abuse awareness, anti-bullying, healthy relationships, and sex education. Under her leadership, Safe Egypt has launched numerous resources, including the “Safeeelings Game” and “The Elephant Journal,” aimed at promoting psychological well-being.

In recognition of her commitment, Sara was elected in 2024 as an official member of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood and also serves as a member on the youth committee of the National Council for Women, furthering her mission to empower the next generation.
