My name is Kholoud El Garhy. I am a proud mother of two boys, Loving wife, sister and daughter, Montessori Consultant, Gateway MTC’s Montessori training program director, Instructor, Gateway International Montessori School’s Director of Nido & Toddlers Section and Haven Montessori Nursery’s Project Manager and Academic Consultant.
I studied business in college, marketing major. For I have always been into fashion, alongside, I started my career in Journalism covering fashion events, writing in magazines’ fashion sections until I made it as a Fashion Editor at CLEO Magazine.
I shifted careers in my early 20s when I got pregnant with my first child. I decided that I have to be part of the children’s world, in order to raise one. I was introduced to the Montessori Method of Education. The amount of respect to the children and to humanity that the method has embedded in its values made me stand on a solid ground as a parent, a teacher and a human being.
I hold an international lower and upper elementary Montessori teaching certification from CGMS, accredited by MACTE – acknowledged by the American Department of Education. I attended my 6-9 Montessori teaching residency program at Lakeland Montessori School – Florida/ USA. I hold an early childhood teaching certification accredited by Modern Montessori International/ London and the International Montessori Foundation/ Egypt. I hold a 0-3 Montessori Professional Development Diploma from The Centre of Guided Montessori Studies/ USA. I also hold a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Diploma.
Today, my main aim is not just teaching anymore. I am spreading a message of peace, a proper way of raising the men and women of the future.
