Andrès Reyes Gjerme has dedicated himself to tourism since he was 16 years old. Ever since he was little, he’s been fascinated by hotels which also mirrors his Norwegian and Chilean heritage that fuels his passion for global diversity and cultural exchanges.
He started his firm, RG Hospitality Management, with the aim of creating excellence for the clients and take part in shaping the industry. This is done through strategic guidance and operational execution where the firm has currently offices in Oslo and London that caters to clients worldwide across several industries.
His experience derives most notably from luxury independent hotels and international chains in Europe in addition to a consulting company in France. Andrès holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Tourism Management from CMH – l´École de Management Hoteller International de Luxe in Paris. He speaks five languages and now mastering his sixth.
Other involvements include as Chair of the Rising Leaders Council for HSMAI Europe, member on the examination board for tourism apprentices in Oslo municipality, member of AICR International, SIKT alumni by H. R. H. the Crown Prince of Norway, and LHW Technology Advisory Committee. He made top 3 in E24 “Leadership Talent of the Year” in 2022 across all industries in Norway, been a guest speaker at The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprises annual conference in 2023 and podcasts.
Voluntary work has always been important to him, from Red Cross Youth, student association to various industry organizations. What drives him further is passion for people, quality and how together we can build each other up and the industry.
