Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, he cares for patients across all ages as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. His journey from a Certified Nursing Assistant to a Doctor of Nursing Practice, achieved through rigorous training from community colleges to Walden University, demonstrates his resilience, dedication, and entrepreneurship.

Founding Desert Bolt Behavioral in Phoenix, Dr. Nkendong established a center that offers personalized mental health services, emphasizing accessible care. This initiative not only serves the local community but also extends support to underprivileged areas in Cameroon, showcasing his commitment to improving global mental health.

Dr. Nkendong is deeply involved in mentoring new nurse practitioners, guiding them towards empathetic and skilled practice in mental health nursing.
