In 2019, Justin York founded Restoration Mate in Toronto, Ontario. By 2021, he decided it would be wise to expand Restoration Mate into other Canadian provinces where behind his vision they flourished. His company has risen in meteoric fashion and is now widely recognized as the most reliable restoration firm in the country.
After acquiring a degree in business, Justin demonstrated his entrepreneurial acumen when he was in his early 20s, when he first established a smaller but successful restoration company.
Justin is IICRC Certified in Water Damage, Fire Damage, Mold Remediation, Trauma Cleanup and Contents Processing. Outside of restoration, Justin enjoys designing and building homes, where he also has enjoyed considerable success.
In addition, Justin served as the youngest property manager with Del Property Management in Ontario before transitioning to the restoration business. He has an extensive background in property management, where he was able to polish what blossomed into excellent communications skills by dealing daily with condominium owners and contractors. He ultimately was chosen on a regular basis to speak to larger groups in public forums and even via the electronic media.
Justin and Restoration Mate are proudly active in hiring Ukrainian refugees who have needed to flee from their wartorn country. He has assisted them in setting up new lives in Ontario and Nova Scotia. They, in turn, have contributed significantly to the growth and success of Restoration Mate.
Justin also takes pride in his charitable contributions and fund raising for important causes, whether it has been to the needy in Ukraine or to those who have struggled on the poverty line in Ontario.
Justin also is a proud member of Lifetime Fitness, where he works out regularly and enjoys the occasional game of pickup basketball. He also is an avid swimmer in the summer and snowboarder in the winter.
