Pau Castellví Canet is an R&D&I executive, consultant, and researcher working to make labour market inclusion of people with disabilities a measurable, scalable, and sustainable reality. His work centers on making disability inclusion a strategic priority for business – translating scientific research into actionable insights that drive lasting change in how disability is supported in the workplace.
With over 12 years of leadership experience, Pau has led teams across business, public policy, academia, social work, and civil society—developing strategies at the intersection of innovation, inclusion, and systemic transformation. Born with low vision and living with ADHD, he grew up navigating systems not designed for people with disabilities. He has shaped his path through tenacity and purpose, having received 9 awards and scientific scholarships from governments, universities, NGOs, and international institutions—including one for entrepreneurial leadership.
Pau’s journey, which has brought him to work in 7 different countries, began at age 16 with a full scholarship to UWC-USA. He holds a BA in Social Science (cum laude) from University College Utrecht (UCU), with a focus on political science, international relations, and development. He later earned an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE), and completed a Master’s in Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, and Coaching at EAE Business School. He is currently a PhD candidate in Law, Politics, and Economics at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), with a 2024 research visit to the University of Southern California (USC).
Pau manages the Data and Knowledge department for Làbora, Barcelona City Council’s labour market inclusion programme, and leads research for Project SUPPORT, an alliance across 8 European countries aimed at escalating Supported Employment best practices. He is also building a new international alliance to advance sustainable disability inclusion, scheduled to launch in late 2026.
