Luiza Varga is the founder and CEO of Luiz Design, a premium interior design studio based in Romania. Growing up in a family of artists, she developed a refined aesthetic vision and a keen sensitivity for colour, texture, and harmony from an early age.
In 2008, she founded Luiz Design in Constanța, Romania. Under her leadership, the studio expanded rapidly into the Banat region and across Europe, introducing both Romanian and international markets to a new standard of excellence. Luiza Varga quickly consolidated her position as a leader in the premium and luxury segment through projects that combine refined aesthetics with functionality and innovation.
Her team has delivered landmark projects including exhibition pavilions, car showrooms, opera interiors, hotels, museums, restaurants, and high-end residential developments. Each project begins with in-depth consultancy to ensure a perfect balance between visual elegance and spatial functionality. The studio’s strength lies in its multidisciplinary expertise, allowing it to design new interiors and manage restoration projects fully compliant with international conservation standards.
Luiz Design offers a complete range of services for residential, commercial, and public spaces from concept development and moodboards to 3D modelling, project management, and execution. The portfolio spans luxury offices, theatres, schools, hotels, embassies, and restaurants, often integrating virtual reality technologies to validate design concepts.
In 2024, the studio received the Best Luxury Commercial Interior Design Award from Luxury Lifestyle Awards, recognizing its outstanding attention to detail and ability to create spaces that are both elegant and practical.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Luiza Varga is the Founding President of the Order of the Design Industry in Romania. Through her leadership, the profession of interior designer was officially recognized by the Ministry of Labour for the first time in the country’s history, a milestone that highlights her dedication to elevating the design industry and setting new professional standards.
