Mai Fathy Said is a Chartered Accountant, Partner and Head of Quality Assurance at Fathy Said Chartered Accountants in Egypt, Co-Founder of FintechX and Vice Chair of the Board at Elfetouh Charity Organization. She represents the second generation of a family firm and focuses on extending its legacy into a regional, technology-enabled platform for professional services in the MENA region. Her work sits at the intersection of professional services and technology.
Mai has built her career in audit, tax and advisory across SMEs, family groups and large corporates in tourism, construction and real estate, financial services, healthcare, professional services and technology. Early in her career she worked with Ernst & Young, experience that shaped her focus on making international standards and reporting frameworks practical and adoptable in the Egyptian and regional context.
She leads Mizan, FSCA’s Virtual CAO and CFO platform. Through Mizan she and her team provide board-level financial leadership, performance insight and governance to owners who need more than bookkeeping and basic reporting and want numbers they can rely on for key decisions.
As Co-Founder of FintechX, Mai is driving a vision to close the gap between traditional accounting and digital finance for SMEs in the MENA region. FintechX builds tools that connect accounting, tax portals and management reporting and give decision makers timely, reliable data.
Through her work with Elfetouh she gives back to her community by supporting structured programs for vulnerable families and children. Mai is an Egyptian Chartered Accountant and an ACCA candidate committed to developing young professionals, expanding women’s leadership and strengthening the growth of emerging and high-performing businesses across the MENA region.
