Hailing from Shelburne, Nova Scotia, Stephanie’s personal experiences have shaped her into a strong advocate for those facing mental health challenges. She understands firsthand the importance of providing resources and support networks to help youth and women overcome their struggles, which has been demonstrated through the development of Girl Code and GAGE, two survivor centric programs designed to empower those who are at-risk of or survivors of GBV.
In addition to her work, Stephanie serves as the manager of the GATE Trafficking & Exploitation Prevention Program with Elizabeth Fry Society, where she empowers, educates and advocates for the rights of survivors. Her dedication to empowering others has earned her recognition in esteemed publications such as Forbes, where she was featured twice for her groundbreaking achievements.
