Shelley Gupta is a dynamic CPG executive, philanthropist, and visionary founder behind BāKIT Box, a STEM-based baking kit that brings global flavors, cultural traditions, and hands-on learning into kitchens across America. Her career began not in boardrooms, but on stage as a recording artist signed to EMI Music, before she pivoted into business and finance with the same passion, discipline, and creative energy she brought to her music.
While managing a multi-million-dollar condominium development in Toronto, Shelley sharpened her entrepreneurial instincts, learned the nuances of operations and customer experience, and earned her CFA Charter, blending creativity with analytical and financial rigor. She later earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she deepened her expertise in strategy, innovation, and consumer behavior.
Shelley went on to serve as a Business Consultant at Accenture Strategy, advising Fortune 500 companies on growth, digital transformation, and market expansion. Guided by a deep commitment to community impact, she also served as President of Guitars Over Guns RISE, a nonprofit using music and mentorship to empower youth affected by gun violence.
Shelley then refined her startup and CPG foundation at Radford Beauty before launching BāKIT Box, a company built at the intersection of culture, education, and food. Today, BāKIT Box is a mission-driven brand that blends global recipes with STEM-based learning to help families explore the world through baking, hands-on activities, and meaningful cultural storytelling.
