Dr. Misha Kouzeh is a TEDx speaker, founder and social impact entrepreneur, distinguished university professor, consultant, and the host and producer of Social Media for Social Impact, a Top 10% global podcast out of more than 3.6 million shows worldwide. Born and raised in the Netherlands, she moved to Los Angeles by herself to pursue the American dream, bringing a global perspective shaped by clients and students in more than 75 countries and by teaching thousands of learners across disciplines.
Over the past decade, Dr. Kouzeh has built Tech Makes History (TMH) into a cross-sector portfolio serving organizations such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, the United Nations’ World Health Organization, Stanford University, the University of Southern California (USC), UCLA, the Cal State University system, and companies in the medical and nutrition technology space. Through TMH, she has led high-impact initiatives including a collaboration with a nutrition-science client whose innovations contributed to the first U.S. patent for type 2 diabetes remission through cellular reprogramming, advancing programs that tackle complex chronic diseases including obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Across her consulting and strategy practice, she helps purpose-driven brands harness communication, innovation, and mission-aligned strategy to improve lives, elevate trust, and strengthen communities. Recognized as a “Digital Changemaker,” she has spoken for more than 15 organizations, including Sustainable Brands, the global leader in sustainable brand innovation.
Her background includes advanced doctoral and graduate training in marketing, education, nutrition science, and leadership across USC, UCLAx, Harvard, Erasmus University, and Wageningen University. She serves on advisory councils for Harvard Business Review and UCLAx and supports organizations empowering leaders across generations.
